Highways and Byways Ministry
Directors:
Deacon Michael White & Deacon Norman E. Powe

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations…” Matthew 28:19

The Highways and Byways ministry is centered on the great command of Jesus to win converts to Christ. Through intentional outreach the members of this vital ministry are encouraged to share their personal faith with others. Additionally, this ministry serves as an arm of our community outreach initiative by sharing information about various church programs and activities that the surrounding community is invited to partake in. New members are always welcome to join this exciting ministry of the church.

Hospitality Ministry
Director:
Deacon Ian Bradshaw

“…contributing to the needs of the saints, practicing hospitality…” Romans 12:13

The Hospitality Ministry of TCCP helps direct and provide culinary leadership for various social and ministerial gatherings at the church. We place a high value on the ability to fellowship together and engage in intentional relationship with one another. Throughout his life, Jesus did much teaching centered around meals; therefore, we seek to model our fellowship time similarly and “break bread” together when able.

Music and Worship Arts Ministry

“Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise…” Psalm 100:4
The Music and Worship Arts Ministry serves the church and the larger community outside its walls as God continues to use many committed and dedicated singers and instrumentalists to lead the congregation in praise and worship, and serve the church whenever needed. Our talented musicians seek to discern the flow of the Holy Spirit in each worship service; and try to follow the Spirit’s lead both musically and spiritually in unity and cooperation with our pastor and other worship leaders. Our utmost motivation and desire is to see the congregation enter into God’s presence. Often, our members accompany Pastor Houston at special outreach services during the year. Membership in all of our choirs is open at all times during the year and new members are especially welcomed.

Co-Directresses:
Mins Nydria L. Williams and Mins. Serlenia Abdul-Wahid

“A gracious woman attains honor…” Proverbs 11:16
The Women’s Fellowship Ministry is for all women no matter of age, background, or life stage. We seek to meet ladies right where they are and come alongside them-encouraging, supporting, praying and equipping them in their journey with God. We seek to grow our faith and demonstrate God’s love and grace through our lives and relationships. We aim to develop deeper, Christ-centered relationships with each other through fellowship, retreats, and various opportunities for deepening intentional relationships. We want to encourage and equip women to faithfully and fully use their God-given gifts to glorify God. As we worship and serve the Lord together, we want every woman to feel loved and accepted for who she is in Christ so that she is transformed and empowered to live out Christ’s love and grace.

Youth Ministry

The Youth Ministry at TCCP uses many different teaching methods including small group lessons, music, object lessons, and more to help youth grow in their relationship with Christ. All of this is done with a caring and energetic group of TCCP volunteers who foster an age-appropriate environment to teach children the principles and values that will catapult them to be the leaders God desires them to be. Every Sunday morning, children get to experience a fun, faith filled Children’s Church where they can learn to grow in Christ with their peers. The Children’s Community Choir Tuesday Fellowship Nights are another great way for kids to grow in relationships with one another and with God as they eat pizza and play together before they commence choir rehearsal. All children ages 4-12 are welcome to join the choir, regardless of church membership.

Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, Youth Alive @ 5, Teen Talk, and many other programs throughout the year continue to provide a fun and safe environment for youth to grow in relationship with one another and Jesus Christ
