About Our Minister:
Mins. Serlenia Wahid has been a licensed minister of the Gospel since January 2010. In 2002 she graduated from The Philadelphia Biblical University in Langhorne Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science degree in Bible and Christian Leadership. Minister Wahid is a registered nurse and retired from nursing in May of 2010.
In 2011 Minister Wahid was led by the Lord to continue her theological studies, she attended Palmer Theological Seminary and graduated in May of 2016 with a Master of Divinity. In 2017 Minister Wahid completed a chaplaincy program at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia where she now works as a contractor chaplain.
Under the leadership of Pastor Dr. Alexander Graham Houston, Minister Wahid serves at The Christian Church in Philadelphia as an associate Minister of Education, one of the leaders of the Women’s Ministry as well as the Health Ministry.
Minister Wahid accepted Jesus as her Savior at the age of twelve and has loved and studied God’s Word for many years. Minister Wahid’s life verse is John 15:16a, “You did not choose me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that you should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain:”.
