What We Believe

God to be manifested in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit, with all three being of the same substance. We believe the Bible to be the infallible Word of God. We believe that there is salvation in Jesus Christ alone; and that He is Lord.

The Christian Church in Philadelphia is a congregation of believers who have confessed with our mouths the Lord Jesus and have believed in our hearts (spirits) that God has raised Him (Jesus) from the dead

Our History

The beginning of The Christian Church in Philadelphia took place on July 25, 1978 at The Goodwill Baptist Church, 4705 Germantown Avenue, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the Reverend Dr. Elijah Thompson, Jr., Pastor, on a Tuesday evening around 7:30 o'clock.

01 Sunday Morning Services In-Person and Viritual Worship

Each week we will have a new Sermon message from our Pastor discussing the Word of God. You can watch these message on our YouTube Page.

02 Sunday School

Each week on Sunday at 9:00am our Sunday school teachers deliver a message from the Bible.

03 Noon and Evening Bible Study

Mid-week Bible Study is done in-person in the afternoon and on-line in the evening. Contact the Church find out more information.

04 Children's Church (The Zone)

While the Pastor is delivering his Sermon during Sunday morning service, TCCP has "Children's Church call "The Zone". The Zone is where our children learn about the teachings of Jesus at a leaving for them to understand.
